Yet it is comfort food for many Yucatecans, and is served at parties along with a scoop of 'coditos' (macaroni pasta in mayo) and perhaps a tamalito. The good thing about this party platter is that no teeth are required to eat it. Those are definitely canned peas. And canned red peppers. And this is one of my LEAST favorite Yucatecan ‘food’ items.
