Right now I’m staying at Kiko’s house. She has graciously allowed me to stay here and is unfailingly polite and pleasant. Affectionate even, and we’ve just met.

Oscar Night
Went to dinner at Eric’s house and then a number of us settled in to watch the academy awards. Although some of us didn’t know each other before, we appreciate each other’s sarcasm and dim views of the nominees. The comments were worthy of lawsuits.

Eric and Nancy’s old friend Oi, who is fom Thailand, has a restaurant in the University District. She cooked a fabulouos dinner. And then, it turned out she knew every actor, every movie, every bit of trivia.
