There is only one place in Merida that I know of. Mixed reviews. It is also possible to live in your own place with 24-hour care for a lot less than you would pay to be in an Assisted Living facility in the US. I can’t understand why no entrepreneurs have stepped forth to fill this gap in Merida.

We have a house in Campeche and travel back and forth from our home in NC about 6 times a year. We have a car in Mexico, but it would be wonderful to have service like this to change out cars and bring supplies that are unavailable or to large to ship via air.
Now large items have to be shipped to Panama city then boat to Progreso. To be able to do this our selves out of Tampa would be fabulous.
With the growth in this area and the new highway system throughout the Yucatan
I think the time is right for a service like this.
Cancun is the number one beach destination in the world to be able to have your own car to explore the Yucatan fantastic!

Can yuo see….this is with a economic proposit….why labs inside? organize crime?they have trasspss the holy land and they must be stop and send back to italy.almost sure they have a plan..not to survive armagedon,but to exploit all the natural resources that exist.the people there are very poor and they are taken advantage of them GET THEM OUT WHILE THEY CAN……THE MEXICAN GOVERMENT MUST INVESTIGATE FURTHER THAT WILL BE THE DOOM DAY FOR THIS PEOPLE.

Great article. I imagine it is open today. I plan to take my wife on a trip to the plantation, Merida, Uxmal, and the Loltun caves. I am writing a fantasy novel. Do you think it would be okay to mention that hopefully someday there will developed farms throughout the Yucatan producing cacao trees and chocolate? I plan to move to the progreso area soon. I’m an avid reader and have an opportunity to bring dozens of paperback books mostly of the mystery/who dunnit genre.Lecroat-martini-Baldcucci-Demille-Patterson-Kellerman-Scarpetta,etc. novels. I’m glad to share these,but b/4 I pay the extravagant airline charges ,what is the current state of Mell and are these types of literature widely avaliable already? thanx for any feedback

This is my favorite food and Since I grow in yucatan I just to think that this dish was made everywhere now I live In nc and I have to make my own still is really good but doesn’t compare with the ones made in yucatan
